Message for the season of Lent 2025

This March 5th, we will be celebrating Ash Wednesday Service, which marks the beginning of the Season of Lent. Lent is a journey of 40 days in which we turn our spiritual focus to the discipline of self-examination, reflection and repentance in preparation for the celebration of Easter. As the old analogy says about Highways that are always in need of repairs and under some sort of construction, so is the spiritual side of us. Lent provides that opportunity to call on the name of our Lord Jesus to help us fix and repair whatever it is that has separated us from God and the people we want to be close to. May God help us to discern his ways and renew a new spirit within us during this Season of Lent and beyond.
