Message for the season of Lent 2026
A Lenten Invitation
Lent is a season of quiet honesty.
It is a time when we slow down long enough to notice the places in our lives that feel tired, broken, or unfinished.
Rather than rushing past them, the Lenten journey invites us to bring those places into the gentle light of God’s presence.
In the Christian story, the road to Easter begins in the wilderness. It is a place of reflection, prayer, and rediscovery. It is a place where we remember who we are and who we belong to.
At Trinity Lutheran, we see Lent not as a season of guilt but as a season of renewal. It is an invitation to return to what matters most: compassion, community, justice, and the quiet work of grace within us.
Wherever you are on your journey of faith, whether certain or searching, hopeful or weary, you are welcome here.
This Lent, may you discover again that even in the wilderness, love is still at work.
